Here’s how to do it:

1. Transfer points from Amex to Iberia (Chase and Bilt work too, and sometimes there’s a transfer bonus!).

2. Book directly on Iberia’s site—not through British Airways—to avoid those brutal surcharges.

3. Plan ahead because these deals disappear fast, especially during peak travel times.

And just like that, you can be laying (literally) in luxury at 35,000 feet instead of crammed in economy.

Even better? Iberia sometimes runs 30-50% off award sales, making this redemption even cheaper.

If you’ve got points and want to make them go further, look for sweet spots like this! Business class to Europe for fewer points than most airlines charge for economy? Yes, please.
