6/11 🚨Last call: The best travel rewards card offer I've seen this year
+ What's inside my carry on
Good morning ☀️ from Booked It On Points: A curated collection to keep you traveling for less money and more know how 👊🏽
🌎 World: This years most relaxed human announced
✈️ Flight: Turks and Caicos on the cheap
💸 Points: The best elevated offer of the year ending soon
👩🏽✈️ News: Spirit announces $0 fee for flight change/cancelations
🧠 Intelligence: A packing strategy: What’s inside my carry on
Let’s dive in.
✈︎ Today’s World
Seoul, South Korea
What does it take to be the world’s most relaxed human? 🧘♀️
You must do absolutely nothing. That’s because in order to win, you must maintain an incredibly low resting heart rate. This “spaced out” international competition is held each year and falling asleep is an automatic DQ.
✈︎ Flight Deal
Budget airline for the win 💸
📉Budget airlines can get a bad wrap, but I’m certain that $89 from New York to Turks and Caicos on Jet Blue can’t be passed up. Yes, I’ll still have to add $$ for my checked bag ($40), but I’ll let them pick my seat ($0) and you bet I’ll be packing my own snacks save even more cash. This cash/points ratio values the points around 1.4cents/mile which, anything over 1.5cents/mile is a great value in my book.

As an affiliate of the The Daily Drop, I often keep up with writer Mike, as he traverses the world and shares his stories and points game insights. Take a look at what these guys wrote on the 9 reasons you need this card.

✈︎ Travel News
World’s Best Airline of 2024… 🥁
Rated on safety and product, these overachievers are patting themselves on the back for pulling in this prestigious industry recognition. Having edged out last years winner- Air New Zealand, passenger reviews for this airline were off the chart! Call me lucky—> I’ll get the world winning experience flying with them in the not so distant future 🥳 !
Spirit announces $0 change/cancellation fee
Spirit Airlines has just announced that they no longer charge a change or cancellation fee for their flights! In the olden days (last month 😏) changes or cancellations to your ticket would cost you between $69-$119. The new policy now makes these situations free of charge!
What a deal, they’ll now only charge for the seat, personal bag, tap water and the oxygen on the plane 🤦🏽 .
This all came just days after Frontier Air also nixed their change and cancellation fees. Ok, competitive airlines, I see you 👀

A.I. in the sky: Saving one weary traveler at a time
Airlines find new uses for AI
Airlines are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance their operations and improve the overall passenger experience. By leveraging AI technology, they are able to increase fuel savings, keep customers informed and hold connecting flights for delayed passengers. From change in flight patterns when weather is looming (much like google maps detour) to holding a plane on the ground if on boarding passengers are late due to a delayed arrival, AI may just make travel days a bit smoother for us all.
Thanks for being here and have a great Tuesday!
