Good morning ☀️ from Booked It On Points: Friday Edition where I give an actionable tip to make your travel dreams a reality.
Here’s what’s we have today—
✈️Tip: 3 ways to spend 90k points
🧠 Intelligence: 3 Money Mistakes to avoid when traveling abroad
🗣️ Announcement: Please read to the end!
✈︎ First Class Travel Tip: She’s a keeper 🥹
🚨 Card alert - 2 Cards, lucky us!
Right now is quite a time to be alive. We’re a part of history. And while you may be thinking of another important event quickly approaching (ahem), I am speaking of 2 ‘keeper’ credit cards with elevated offers perfect for you if you’re looking to travel more in 2025.
Offer Numero Uno: This “Unlimited” card is currently offering $900 bonus cash back (that’s 90,000 bonus points!) after you spend $6,000 in the first three months of opening the card.
While it says it’s a “cash back” card, it will show in your account as 90,000 points, which you then would redeem in the portal for $900 worth of travel.
OR you can… (my favorite way to use points)
If you already have (or plan to have it soon) either of these cards or this “Preferred” card, thank you can transfer those 90k points from our above featured card OUT of the portal to any airline or hotel partner! It’s magic. Wow.
And the topper → it’s a $0 annual fee. What a Friday.
For fun, in case you don’t yet have the cards mentioned above to unlock all transfer magic, there is an elevated offer (Offer Numero dos) → going on right now that is lucrative and worth a mention.
It’s my favorite travel card because of the travel insurance perks, access to airport lounges and TONS of amazing transfer partners.
Got more questions? Hit reply, I’m here waiting.
And to send you off with good dreams tonight, I’m sharing 3 out of a million different ways you could spend 90k points with any of the cards mentioned above 😃
3 Roundtrip tickets to Paris →
4 nights at the Hyatt Regency in Hawaii →
6 tickets from New York to San Diego this winter →
I could go on and on about different ways to spend the points but I’m hoping you get the point. Want more ideas? or have questions? I answer every email.
Unfortunately, the banks won’t allow me to name the card by their proper names, apologies for being cryptic, it’s not by design.

4 Money Saving tips for travel abroad 💲
A quick hitter here today to keep in the back of your mind for your upcoming international voyage. A couple small habits to keep you from wasting all your mullah →
Always select local currency: If using a credit card and they (or the machine) ask you if you want to purchase in US dollars or local currency, always choose local currency. You’ll get a better exchange rate.
Bring a card with no foreign transaction fee: Make sure to have at least 1 Visa or Master card that doesn’t charge a foreign transaction fee. You don’t want to be spending extra $$ with each swipe→ - top 3 favs: this friend, this friend and this friend.
Avoid airport currency exchange: Exchange rates are terrible, seek out a local ATM. Always DECLINE the exchange offered by the ATM, it will give you the best rate.
If you want to have cash on hand before you leave, you can usually find the best currency rate by requesting the money from your bank at home.
Always have some cash on hand: This is just good practice for tipping or for transactions where they don’t take credit cards
